Evan's 2 Month Birthday

ERIN: May 2,2006: Evan turned 2 months old today. His dad bought him a cake and Grandpa George came over for a visit.

We started our mom and baby class today. I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy it. It felt more like a support group/ bitch session and I felt like nobody had anything positive to say about becoming new moms. It was mostly talk about the negative ways in which their lives had changed since having babies and all I could think about was how I am happier than I have ever been and that we are so lucky to have such a happy, easygoing baby. I decided not to say anything:)

BTW: 11 pounds at the weigh in today

BRIAN: I had to get a little cake for Evan's 2 month celebration. Evan kept Erin up most of the night since he got so much sleep the night before. The cake was for Erin as well. She has been the most amazing mom and deserved a treat as well. Sometimes cake is better than flowers.
