ERIN:Thursday night was a rough night for us. I had a cold and wasn't feeling well and I was having trouble sleeping. Then it seemed each time I managed to dose off, Evan would decide he was ready to eat again. Luckily, Brian had taken Friday off so he could have an extra long weekend. He had to leave the house early to get an oil change. When I woke up Friday morning, Brian was standing next to the bed with a Starbucks for me and a lemon raspberry loaf. What a guy! That was the perfect way to wake up after a rough night. Evan decided to wake up shortly after that. I should mention, he is a morning person just like his dad. He seemed to be especially responsive that morning and we had so much fun making him smile. It seems like he is so close to laughing but he just can't figure how yet.
BRIAN: Lately I have loved changing Evan. You see him smiling in the pictures but you should see him smiling when I have him on the change table. Maybe he is just happy being out of his filled diapers but after I change him and dress him again, I then have daddy and son laughing time. I just leave him on the change table and have a 5-10 ,minute session of making him smile and trying to get him to laugh. He makes these little sounds that are always changing from day to day. I get him so worked up that his legs are going a mile a minute and his arms are waving all over the place. His smile is so amazing. I just love this time with him. Who would have ever thought that changing a diaper could be so much fun.

ERIN: Apparently we got him so worked up he couldn't keep his breakfast down.
BRIAN: Evan was so funny during this time that I just had to take some pictures of him spitting up. He was so cute with his smile and spit going. He is great.

That was enough fun for one morning... I guess we wore him out
