Evan's First Christmas

Well, Evan's first christmas has come and gone and we now have a house full of toys to prove it. Our holiday started on the 21st where we went to a party at Auntie Bev, Danny and GG's house. All for of Bev's kids and their families were all under one roof for the first time in ages and it was really nice to see everyone. Then on the morning of the 22nd we headed over to Victoria to visit Grandma and Grandpa Cropp and Uncle Bob, Aunt Rachel and cousin Emma. We also went to visit Brian's friend Kate and her family which was really nice as well. We had Christmas dinner on the 23rd followed by an obscene amount of gifts.

On the morning of the 24th we had to leave earlier than expected due to a severe wind warning. We took the 10am ferry home instead of the 1pm that we had planned to take cause we were worried that there might be some cancelled sailings once the wind picked up.

The ferry ride home was rough but Evan didn't seem to notice as he was having too much fun driving his car in the kids play area.

I learned that a good way to keep a baby occupied for a long time is to let him chew on a large turkey bone

On Boxing Day, Grandpa George, Auntie Kristy and Great Grandma McCarter came over to our place. Evan clapped his hands for the first time that day... must have been all the excitement.
