Wow did we ever have a busy weekend. On Friday Evan got to go to his first wedding. Congratulations Nicki and Jay! It was a beautiful wedding at Newlands in Langley and the three of us had a good time. Evan was quiet and well behaved during the ceremony and then he slept for a couple hours at the reception so we could enjoy our dinner (which was an amazing buffet might I add). He woke up after dinner and was ready to party but we decided the music was too loud for his little ears (his eyes were wide open and darting around) so we went home a little earlier than the rest of the guests so we could put him to bed.


On Saturday we went to Bernard's 50th birthday party. It was a tropical theme so Evan borrowed the other Evan's hawaiin shirt and shorts for the night. That party got a little rowdy towards the end and Evan was getting scared by the hollering and party favor noises so I took him for a walk around their neighbourhood and then we went home shortly after. It was a lot for a little boy for one weekend but he was very good.


Today Evan spent the entire afternoon and evening with Brian cause I had another wedding to go to. This one was in Whonnock (about 1 1/2 hours away) so I was gone for a long time. The wedding was the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. So beautiful that the photographer requested permission to submit the photos to magazines.
