The Wenatchee Trip
We are back from our road trip to Wenatchee, WA.

From left to right: Ann with baby Young in tummy, Lance, the scarecrow, Kristy, me, Evan and Brian
Kristy, Brian, Evan and I went down to Wenatchee over the weekend to visit my cousin Lance and his wife Ann. Lance and Ann are expecting their first baby on March 23rd. That's one day before Evan's due date and it also happens to be Evan the second's birthday! Thank-you Lance and Ann for hosting us over the weekend, we had a great time.

We stopped in Leavenworth on the way home where Evan posed with the giant pumpkin.
Evan got to meet his cousin Raife(actually, his first cousin once removed as I've been informed)over the weekend. Raife is just over a month younger than Evan.

All in all it was a good trip until the way back when the canadian border patrol decided to walk off the job when they heard there were some dirty diapers coming their way. After a small detour to the Sumas border crossing and a quick diaper change for Evan on the hood of the car in the border lineup we finally made it back to Canada without incident... only about 3 hours behind schedule. Evan can now say he has been to the United States of America!
