Evans First Haircut

 

After Evan was mistaken for a girl twice in one day, I decided it must be time for the first haircut. We couldn't bear to say goodbye to the soft curls behind his ears yet but we decided his bangs at least needed a trim since he started actually blowing them out of his own eyes when they were bothering him. I figured I would heat up his bottle for him so that if he wouldn't sit still I would be able to distract him with it. But when I sat him on the kitchen counter to get the bottle ready he spotted the bananas. I let him play with the bunch of bananas while I did a quick trim. I was so focused on his hair that I didn't notice, until I saw him put something in his mouth, that he had peeled the banana and had begun eating it. He peeled and ate the banana all by himself! So there it is, the story of the first haircut... or the story of the banana.
