Evan's Hospital Stay
As many of you know, Evan was admitted to hospital for a few days last month for his asthma. Here are some pictures from the whole experience. They're a little sad but as you can see, towards the end of his hospital stay he was looking and feeling much better. We wanted pictures of his first (and hopefully only) ride in an ambulance since we wanted to try and find some fun out of the whole experience. He is still talking about the ambulance ride so it was definitely memorable for him.

The paramedics were really good with Evan. When we arrived at the hospital they wheeled him in his stretcher around to the front of the ambulance and turned on the flashing lights for him to see.

Evan ate a record number of orange popsicles during his hospital stay and there were lots of toys for him to play with. But the thing that he liked the most was the video library. There was a bookcase in the hallway with hundreds of kids movies that you could take back to your room to watch. Evan was more interested in just looking at the cases of all the different movies than actually watching them. He would choose one, take it back to his room, watch maybe five minutes of it and then say "I want to go back to the movie section again" and head back down the hallway to look at the movies again and pick a new one.

Three days later after finally getting the approval from the pediatrician...
"Let's blow this joint"
