HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ERIN

Well I have to say that Mother's day is an hour and a half away and I can not wait to wake up in the morning next to the greatest mother of all time. Now Mother Cropp and Mother McCarter please do not get mad at the comment. I know that the both of you did amazing jobs and as you can see from Erin and myself, all turned out well. At some time you have to pass the torch and I have to say that there is no one better to carry the torch than Erin.

Over the last 2.5 months I have seen Erin develop into the most amazing mother. The way that she is with Evan is truly a gift that I have not seen in a lot of mothers. She never once has complained about being home with Evan and to be honest, I have a hard time getting her to get out of the house to have some of her own time as she just loves being with Evan.

Erin, I love the way that you are with Evan. The way that you hold him. The way that you look at him. The twinkle in your eye as you quiet him when he fussing. I know if Evan could speak I hope that the first 4 words from his mouth would be "I LOVE YOU MOMMY". I could not pick a better MOM for Evan and I have to say that I am the luckiest man alive to have you as Evan's Mom.
I love you with all my heart. You are the most amazing and loving mother.

P.S. Please do not cry when you read this.

For everyone else, I did not tell her that I put this on here.

The Baby Shower

On Tuesday evening, my coworkers from RCH threw another baby shower for Evan and I. The cake was made by the very talented Cindy, that's right it's homemade! By the way guys, there is no better gift for a new mom than a Spa Utopia gift card and a bottle of wine... so perfect!!! Thank-you all for a fun evening.

It's Not Easy Being Green

ERIN: Ok, that's enough of the boring video clips for a while.

BRIAN: I happen to love the videos. I can pop on at lunch and see my little guy. I have to say I sure miss him during the day while at work.

He's a Thumb Sucker

Sucking his thumb

Brian: The first time I saw him actually sucking his thumb it was so funny. He was sucking it so loudly that I thought he was about to spit up again.

Whoever invented the baby swing is a genius

He actually likes sleeping on his side... this too should help fix the flat head. I'm obviously quite concerned with the head.

Buddha Belly

ERIN: You too could have a belly like this if you visited the buffet every two hours.

BRIAN: I would love to have a belly like Evan's but lately it seems that I am always standing in line for the buffet but never get to sample from it.

ERIN: Very funny Brian

Tummy Time

ERIN: Ok, so for those of you at work who were teasing me about the 4 minute video of Evan in his crib... here is another very necessary and extremely exciting video of him on the floor. On his tummy, to be more precise. He hates it so we only do this for short periods throughout the day and we stop when the frustration level is almost at it's peak but I swear he is so close to being able to roll over. Plus, it's good for fixing the flat head.

By the way, we are very excited about our baby shower tonight!

BRIAN: I did not know that Erin took this video but it looks like he is getting ready to swim more than trying to roll over. A good swimmer swims on his side more than his belly. This took me years to get right and he is only 2 months old. I laughed so hard at this video knowing that his arms and legs are off the ground due to is "BUDA BELLY" that he gets after eating. Man can he eat. Some days I do not know how Erin does it with him attached to her.
