Evan is now seeing the world from the right way in the car.

You know your boy is getting older and bigger when you have to change the position of the car seats to face forward. Erin and I have been holding off changing the car seats to face forward as long as possible for safety reasons as it is safer to have them facing the back. Since Evan's knees were in his chest (just kidding), we thought it would be time to change the the seat around. I changed the car seat in the Mazda on Sunday and we did not have a chance to put Evan in the new position until Monday after work when I went to pick him up. He was very happy and a bit confused for a few minutes. The expression on his face at first was funny. It looked like he was trying to figure out why his world was so different in the care. Then all he did for the whole drive home was point and say "DAT". We are not sure what "DAT" is but I think it is THAT.

I changed over the car seat in the Nissan last night so his transformation from rear facing (life sucks when everything is passing you by) to forward facing (life is so much better when you see what is coming at you). Now all we have to get use to is DAT DAT DAT DAT DAT DAT DAT DAT for the whole drive.

Well it looks like the family is going on a road trip June 10th (I hope) to Naniamo to have DADDY and AUNTIE KRISTY jump off a 150' high bridge with an elastic tied to our ankles. I have always wanted to do this for as long as I can remember and with Kristy wanting to do this as well, it gives me the opportunity to fling myself off a 150' high bridge. If you jump a second time, you only pay half price so really it is a good deal so I might have to do it twice. I really want to try a flip if possible (I hope the bungee staff will allow me to do this).

I will keep you posted on this and since I have put it on the blog, I better get my butt out there and do it now. I hope that Erin will take some video of this with the camera as I doubt I will do this again.
